Those who didn't participate in the original campaign, may still "late pledge" during the pledge manager stage. If you're a late backer, we invite you to add the desired reward levels and add-ons below and complete the transaction here in the pledge manager. Please be advised that late backers are not eligible for stretch goal rewards, nor the free follower gift.

The pledge manager for KeyForge: Grim Reminders will remain open until November 27, 2023. All backers MUST complete their pledge by this date. Backers who do not close the pledge manager by this date will forfeit their pledge rewards.

When the innovative KeyForge card game was released in the fall of 2018 by Fantasy Flight Games it became a massive hit that would sell more than 5 Million decks (and counting). Unlike other card games, each KeyForge deck is completely unique and playable right out-of-the-box.

Ghost Galaxy purchased KeyForge from Fantasy Flight Games in the summer of 2022 and quickly began to rebuild the assets required for a relaunch. With impressive support from the KeyForge community, the KeyForge: Winds of Exchange Gamefound campaign managed to raise over $1M in pledges, enabling Ghost Galaxy to invest in the software, people, operations and product development that would make new KeyForge decks a glorious reality once more. Now, having erected an impressive array of software, machinery and operations required to create and support KeyForge, Ghost Galaxy is ready to venture into shadows of the Crucible to bring forth the next KeyForge set: KeyForge: Grim Reminders.

Fans of localized KeyForge, fear not! This restriction applies only to the crowdfunding campaign. We expect the commercial release of KeyForge: Grim Reminders to be published in a variety of localized languages (and distributed by local partners) after the crowdfunding campaign for retail release.

After the pledge period has closed, up to end of the pledge manager period, cancelled pledges are eligible for refund less a 15% administration fee.

No cancellations will be allowed, and no refunds granted after the pledge manager period has closed.

The scourge of the Geistoids has spread throughout the Crucible, seeking to remake the world in their own image. Each Geistoid minion is a fusion of discarded refuse, animated by psychic energy of Æmber, and driven to wreak vengeance on a neglectful universe. Every scrap of detritus cast aside by the living is a potential new minion to swell their ranks.

Exactly how the Geistoids came into being is much debated. Some claim demonic origins, while others insist it was an ill-conceived experiment gone rampant. The truth is likely buried for all time beneath the ruins of the mysterious Gormangeist mansion. It was there the Geistoids were first encountered, seemingly controlled by the haunting music of an enigmatic being called The Amalgamator.

The Geistoids harness the power of discarded things, and this is represented by their mastery of the haunted mechanic. A player is haunted any time they have 10 or more cards in their discard pile. Any KeyForge deck with House Geistoid will find ample reasons to become haunted and also to make their opponent haunted.

Campaign pledges or add-on items prices do not include cost of shipping, tax, or duties. Information on these costs be found in this section.

Shipping in the U.S. is handled by Ghost Galaxy directly. International shipping will be handled by GamesQuest, a specialist crowdfunding logistics provider. Ghost Galaxy will assemble and ship all Reward Pledges to GamesQuest's U.K., Asia, and Australia hubs, after which GamesQuest manages the last step of the shipping journey to your door.

Depending on where you live in the world, we estimate the shipping cost of your pledge reward to be as follows:

* Far East includes the countries of Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines only.

The above pricing is reflective of the quotes we have been given by our freight and logistics providers. However, as freight cost may change over time or due to unexpected events, the actual shipping costs (which will be provided during the pledge manager), may vary from those listed above.

If your country is not among the ones listed above, we unfortunately cannot ship to you directly. An alternative option would be for you to use a forwarding service in the U.S. such as those provided by ship2me, shipito, myus.com, or opas.com who will provide you with a U.S. address. Ghost Galaxy is not affiliated or partnered with any U.S. freight forwarding or service company, and we cannot certify or guarantee the performance or validity of any such service, including the two mentioned.

Add-on purchases will increase your shipping costs based on the weight of the individual items. Your final shipping costs will be calculated during the pledge manager.

A shipping quote will be provided during the pledge manager period to any retailer who participates in the Retail Pledge.

We hope to have all deliveries in the hands of backers prior to the end of March 2024. However, this is an early estimate only and actual results may vary. We will keep backers abreast via updates to this campaign as to when we'll start shipping pledge rewards.

Depending on where you live in the world, this is when you should expect to see your shipment:

Asian pledge rewards will be picked and shipped first from our warehouse. We will be shipping the Asia bulk shipment by air from the U.S. to the main GamesQuest Hub in Shanghai (the above shipping estimates reflect this leg by air). From the Shanghai hub, the packages then make their way to country specific hubs, after which they are dispatched for final delivery. Unfortunately, this is a slow process, and delivery country-by-country will vary. Asian backers should expect delivery 8-9 weeks from the time the Asia bulk-shipment has been dispatched from the U.S.

European pledge rewards will be picked and shipped second from our warehouse. We will be shipping the Europe bulk shipment by ship from the U.S. to the GamesQuest hub in the U.K from where they are dispatched for final delivery. Due to the duration of ocean-freight, and to allow time for both UK and EU customs, European backers should expect delivery 6-7 weeks from the time the Europe bulk-shipment has been shipped from the U.S.

Canadian pledge rewards will be picked fourth from our warehouse. We will be shipping the Canadian bulk shipment by truck from the U.S. to the GamesQuest hub in Canada. From there, they are dispatched for final delivery. Canadian backers should expect delivery 3-4 weeks from the time the Canadian bulk-shipment has been shipped from the U.S.

US pledge rewards will be picked last from our warehouse and shipped by Ghost Galaxy directly to U.S. backers. U.S. backers should expect delivery 1-3 weeks from the time we begin dispatching U.S. orders from the U.S. warehouse.

As with shipping costs, pledge levels pricing and add-on item pricing do not include taxes or customs duties. Pledges will be charged relevant tax and duties in the pledge manager, as follows:

United States: Residents of the following U.S. states will be charged the following percentages to settle state tax: Minnesota 7.49%, California 8.82%, Texas 8.20%, Washington State 8.86%, Pennsylvania 6.34%, Nevada 8.23%.

Canada: No tax or duty will be charged, however, your shipment may be subject to local duties, taxes, and fees upon entry into Canada

Australia and New Zealand: A fee of 10% will be charged to settle Australian VAT

China, Hong Kong, and Far East: Your pledge will be charged a 13% fee during the pledge manager. This fee settles tax, customs, and duties fees on import to the Shanghai hub. Your shipment will incur no other tax, customs, duties fees on import, but may be subject to additional local taxes and special fees on a country-by-country basis.

A typical game of KeyForge is played between two players, each taking the role of a legendary Archon of the Crucible. To win, a player must "forge" three "keys" before the opponent. To forge a key, players seek to collect the substance of "Æmber". If, at the start of a turn, a player has six or more Æmber, then one key is forged.

Players collect Æmber by "reaping" with your active creatures, stealing it from your opponent, or playing or using various cards from your deck. Of course, you'll want to prevent your opponent from doing these things (or ensure that you do them faster).

Sounds simple, yes? Of course, nothing in life is truly simple. In order to gain three keys, you must carefully consider your cards and options. Most importantly, you must choose which one of your three Houses to activate each turn, and then what actions to take with the cards of that House.

Each KeyForge deck consists of exactly 36 cards, being 12 cards from three different houses. At the start of your turn, you must choose which of your three Houses is active for that turn. Then, you may take actions such as playing cards, fighting, or using card abilities, but only with cards from this turn's active House.

In addition to the traditional 2-Player KeyForge game experience, a whole other game format exists with which you may enjoy your KeyForge decks. That is KeyForge: Adventures!

In each KeyForge: Adventure a group of players must play collaboratively to defeat the challenge of the adventure, such as defeating an underseas cult, vanquishing a monstrous KeyRaken, or surviving the dangers of a mansion haunted by a demonic entity. Three adventurers are currently available and more are coming.

During the past 12 months, Ghost Galaxy has built the necessary infrastructure to create and manufacture KeyForge decks, register decks online, and manage high-level KeyForge tournaments. During the past few months, we successfully shipped the KeyForge: Winds of Exchange campaign to more than 6,000 backers, 

Risk to this campaign include, but are not limited to, shipping delays and errors, material and manpower shortages, disruptions in the financial system, loss of key staff members, termination of business, war, terrorism, flooding, fire, as well as man-made or natural catastrophes. As such, by pledging to this campaign, backers assume the risk that Ghost Galaxy may be unsuccessful in achieving its goals and commitments hereof, including, but not limited to, delivery of Pledge Rewards or Add-Ons.

We guarantee that the items in the pledge reward you receive from this campaign will be complete and meet normal manufacturing tolerances. Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment, if your product is missing or has damaged components, we will make our best effort to send you replacement pieces at no charge to you, or we may determine to provide a refund instead.

Due to the many physical factors in handling, and environmental conditions persistent in cross-country and international shipping, we do not replace boxes/packaging with scuffs, dents, scratches, or tears. If your product packaging is materially and structurally damaged, we will need to make a claim with the carrier for a full replacement instead. As the evidence of mishandling will be in your possession, you may be asked to make the replacement claim directly with the responsible carrier.

If you a) refuse to accept your package delivery, b) if the shipment is unable to be deliver the package with the given address information and we have been unable to correct this despite good-faith efforts, or c) if the package is not delivered after a reasonable amount of attempts by the local carrier, then you will forfeit your pledge rewards from this campaign and your pledge will be considered a donation to the campaign without reward.

It is your responsibility to complete the pledge manager in a timely manner, and to ensure the address is correct for proper fulfillment. We will send out numerous reminders to complete the Pledge Manager via Gamefound or the email address provided during your pledge.

Only backers who have committed to a pledge reward level (being the "Novice of the Crucible" or higher reward level), qualify to receive the campaign's stretch goals rewards or follower reward. Backers who purchase add-on items, or provide a general support pledge do not qualify.

Pledge rewards are not subject to return or pledge refund.
